Pioneer Vsx-53 Review
gerard ziemski : I bought this receiver as another option to the Denon 1912, CNET's Editor's Choice Award. Effectively, I had difficulties while using Denon and so i decided to become my second choice, CNET's second choice as well, this Pioneer 53. First off, I really like this receiver! The sound high quality is totally phenomenal. I'm received from a $4000 Bose Lifestyle 48 and have paired this Pioneer with all the Mirage nanostat speakers which latest setup of mine, for approximately $1000 blows Bose away! In case you are even taking a look at this equipment, your search is over, this can be the one. Airplay works completely, all attributes work perfectly. I did find setup just a little confusing at times but was capable to work everything out using a little bit extra help from internet looking. In case you are a media type person, it'll be a breeze. Sound high quality is simply unbelievable!!
Adam : Reciever is easy to installation. Installation can be conducted from the desktop computer once the receiver is connected into your home network. Sound high quality is incredible.

KevinC : This can be by far the finest receiver on this value range. I moved 3 a long time ago and finally had a room for full multichannel surround sound i could setup without destroying the walls. I tried a Onkyo that never had very good center channel volume even using my manual adjustments. It died just outside the warranty of 1 year. I replaced it with this Pioneer plus the multichannel surround sound and center channel sound is dramatically far better. The auto calibration works far better than both Onkyo and Yamaha from my knowledge. Airplay worked almost effortlessly with the moment I connected the receiver into my network. Only issue will be for far better manual documenting the features and their use, nevertheless that may seem to be equal across products from all manufactures. Purchase and experience this receiver you don't need to look further.
